Islam is a holistic religion that doesn’t only include spritual development and rituals. Being involved in the general community is also a major factor. At Embrace, our goal is to help build converts into active advocates of Islam in the U.S. As such, Embrace identifies monthly community service and activism opportunities for converts. Such opportunities include feeding the homeless, community clean up, refugee assistance, and the like. These events are excellent opportunities to give back to the community, meet other converts in a different setting, and build relationships!
