ANNUAL RAMADAN & EID PROGRAMS

Together We are One Big Family!

Ramadan and Eid are supposed to be the best times of the year for Muslims. No Muslim should be forced to have iftar alone, nor celebrate Eid alone. Unfortunately, it’s very common for Muslim converts to be all alone during these blessed times, having no family to spend time with while most of the larger Muslim community celebrates. The following are different programs conducted during Ramadan and Eid to ensure that converts have a community to benefit with during the Holy Month!

Daily Iftars

Embrace provides daily iftars during the month of Ramadan either through our halaqahs, the home of an Embrace sponsor, or online through our virtual iftars. Through Embrace, converts always have the option to break their fast with their Muslim family.

Qur’an Rush

The month of Ramadan is also known as the month of the Qur’an! Through Qur’an Rush, Embrace conducts nightly discussions where we discuss major themes of each juz, or section, of the Qur’an! A different presenter from Embrace membership covers one juz a night, followed by a discussion with participants. The purpose of this program is to improve our relationship with the Qur’an during Ramadan through collective discussion and reflection.

Eid Celebrations

Embrace holds Eid celebration events for converts with a regular attendance of 100+ converts coming together to celebrate the most festive days of the year. Our Eid celebrations are family oriented, having activities for both kids and adults!

Let’s make meaningful change in the lives of Muslim converts
