Raising awareness through our convert sensitivity training workshops.

Embrace offers convert sensitivity training workshops to mosques and other Muslim community centers. Embrace’s goal is not to separate converts from the greater Muslim community, but to bring both communities together as one Ummah (nation). Through our convert sensitivity training, Embrace strives to raise awareness to the larger Muslim community of the unique challenges and experiences many converts go through and highlight the importance for the Muslim community to embrace their converts in the most loving, welcoming manner. In our workshops, we cover the following topics: The changing home life of a convert, the changing social/professional life of a convert, and understanding the changing communal life of a convert.
