Every event in your life was leading to one particular moment: your shahadah. The moment that you remembered Allah and the importance of following His commandments; after all, Allah guides with perfect hikmah (wisdom) and rahmah (mercy). He knew what lay within you and what you could contribute, be it through raising the next generation, modeling the deen to your family, or using the skills that He blessed you with to make it easier for others to find Him and hold onto the deen. All of these purposes are something that He loves dearly, and carry immense blessings in this world and in the next. Knowing exactly how we should contribute can be daunting, especially as reverts who may still be working towards finding spaces where we feel most comfortable.

This is why, on July 24th, Embrace PA will be hosting Stepping into your place, an in-person halaqa dedicated to teaching us how to discern the best role for us and learn about volunteer opportunities within Embrace, over a complimentary meal. It is also a wonderful opportunity to connect with like-minded reverts and gain new lifelong friends.
