ANNUAL RAMADAN & EID PROGRAMS
Together We are One Big Family!
Ramadan and Eid are supposed to be the best times of the year for Muslims. No Muslim should be forced to have iftar alone, nor celebrate Eid alone. Unfortunately, it’s very common for Muslim converts to be all alone during these blessed times, having no family to spend time with while most of the larger Muslim community celebrates. The following are different programs conducted during Ramadan and Eid to ensure that converts have a community to benefit with during the Holy Month!
Revert Iftars
During the blessed month of Ramadan, Embrace ensures that converts always have a welcoming space to break their fast and connect with their Muslim family. We organize iftars and Ramadan programming in various settings, including our halaqahs, the homes of Embrace sponsors, and virtual gatherings for those who cannot attend in person. These iftars provide not only nourishment but also a sense of belonging, support, and spiritual enrichment. No convert should have to break their fast alone, and through Embrace, everyone has the opportunity to share in the beauty of Ramadan with a caring and supportive community.
Eid Events
Eid is a joyous occasion ordained by Allah for believers to come together in celebration and unity. At Embrace, we are committed to upholding this Sunnah by creating meaningful and inclusive Eid experiences for our convert brothers and sisters. We offer a variety of Eid events, both in-person and online, to ensure that no convert in our community has to celebrate alone.
